The Newington Republican Party gathered Thursday, December 19, 2024, for their monthly meeting, which was paired with a festive holiday Ugly Sweater Party. Attendees came together to celebrate the season, enjoy good food, share laughs, and reflect on the achievements of 2024.
In the true spirit of giving, attendees also donated canned goods, which will be delivered to the Newington Human Services Food Bank to support those in need during the holiday season. "The Ugly Sweater Party was not only a fun way to celebrate the holiday season, but it also gave us an opportunity to connect with friends, neighbors, and fellow Republicans while giving back to our community," said John Donahue, Chairman of the Newington Republican Party.
The Newington Republican Party encourages all interested individuals to join their next meeting on 1/16/25 at 7:00 p.m. and become involved in shaping the future of the community. Whether you're new to politics or a long-time supporter, all are welcome to attend and participate.
